On Tuesday we made paper strip Christmas tree. Our teacher cut the paper strips and we  glued it on the paper in the shape of a Christmas tree.

This week we made Christmas trees out of paper it was fun making those we also put pots,crosses and branches down the bottom of them.

Yesterday we made beautiful christmas trees with strips of pieces of paper. Rubys one was beautiful and some had presents under it.From Haneet and Zayan.

On Tuesday we made a Christmas Tree. And it was a colourful tree. We made the star with sparkly ball things. By Jasleen and Vishal.

In term 4 week 1 Room 15 and 28, and 10 went to the Botanical Gardens. We went there to explore New Zealand Forests. When we got  there it was all sunny and windy. We went to a forest called Totara Park. Crystal liked the forest part when she got to use the magnifying glass. Ashmeen liked the part when she saw the Blossom tree. It was amazing. When we were leaving it started to rain. Well, it is Spring Time. By Crystal and Ashmeen.
On Friday at week 1, we went to the Botanical Gardens.  With Room 10 and Room 28. We were learning about the forest. Our favourite part was when we were using the magnifying glasses to find some invertebrates. In the  bus it was bumpy and a little bit shaky.

On Friday, week 1, we went to the Botanical gardens. My friends and I were in my Mum's group Miss Chand. Rooms 15, 28 and 10 went. When we reached there we had our morning tea.

The teachers called us  and we sat down on the concrete cause the teachers said so.

After that we all went to the forest. It was a bit dark because the trees were shady. By Aaliyah and Roechelle.
At the beginning of Term 4 Room 15 went on a class trip to the Botanic Gardens. We went with Room 28 and Room 12. First we put on our name tags. After that, then we hopped on the bus. When we got there we had morning tea, then we went to a classroom. We looked at the New Zealand forests on a map. We did an activity. We looked inside a worm farm and found little white flies. The teachers name was Paul and he lead us to the forest.   By Sukhlyn And Haneet
On Friday of week 1, Term 4, Room 15 went to the Botanical Gardens. We went with Rooms 10 and 28. At the Gardens we learnt all about the Forest Ecosystem. It was an exciting day. Everyone loved the bumpy bus ride and when we arrived the sun was shining. When we left it was pouring with rain. Well, it is springtime!!!

In Term 2 Rm 15 had lots of leaves on the deck. We all had to pick up the leaves.  Some people were playing with the leaves.  Some people were picking  the leaves up and putting them into the bin. The boys were fiddling with the leaves.  Ms Kumar said '' well done everyone it's looking lovely''. Soon the deck was nice and tidy. Then Ms Purvis took our photos picking up the leaves. Then we all went inside the classroom, suddenly Mr White came and gave us a clap. We were so proud of the work we did. By Haneet and Ashmeen.

For the science fair we made a caterpillar robot. We painted the caterpillar green and  black. When I throw my vegetables out he eats the vegetables. Sahil and Avaan.

In the morning Room 15 saw leaves on the deck, then we picked them up and threw them in the big green bin and Mrs Purvis took photos. Vishal.

Room 15 had so many leaves on the deck and we picked them up. We got a thank you from Mr White.by Christian and Richard
Term 2 in Room 15. We had so many leaves falling that we had to pick them all up and we found out that it was great fun.

I  LOVED  eating old  butter, but Ishani didn't like the old butter.
When we went to Howick Historcal Village, we played olden day games.

My class went on a trip to Howick Historical village. We explored the whole entire village. It was fun. My favourite part was when we went in the school. It was big and old. We saw a lot  of old plastic. They were very old and dirty. There was a very old toy. It had a horse and it was like a scooter and I almost fell off it, even my friends were about to fall of it. I liked it. From Oshana.
This is room 15  on race relations day.  I was not in there. One time I'll be in there with my friends. It is a little bit funny in that photo. I wish that I was in there with them. I like being in photos. I love photos all the same.I loved race relations day.




This is me and Nathan playing braces. I like that game. I will never forget this day at Howick village.
I went to learn about the old fancy school and we were listening to Mrs Hallam in the olden days school. I loved going to Howick Historical village. From Ishani.
On Monday we all celebrated Race Relations day by dressing in clothes that represent our different cultures. The colours were dazzling.

We  made  butter  and it  was  fun,  because  we  got  a  turn  at  turning  the  butter. We also went to see a old school, and we also had to act like olden day poeple. We also got to eat the butter. By A.


I like jumping on the log. I enjoyed it with Manea. Manea told me how to jump on the log. Me and Manea loved it. After that, we played on the house. From Rishal.

Howick Historical Village

We learned how to do maths in the olden days. We used a bead wall or abacus. We used fives to 100s and it was a lot of fun. If we write left hand you would get in trouble. We did olden day work. We drew on the slate. It was a type of rock. We wrote with rocks. If you went to sleep the teacher wuold get a stick and bang on the desk so that will wake you.  from Suvel.

We are eating butter on a cracker it is so delicious. The butter was made in a churn. It was fun spinning the churn. We saw Pukekos in the lake. In Howick Historical village, we went to a olden day school. We weren't allowed to use our left hand. by Sukhlyn.

We went to Howick Historical Village  and played the olden day games. We also went to a old fancy school. We made butter in a churn and ate it. I really liked the bus ride. It was fun and crazy. We went in a big fancy house. I liked the games. From Manea.
We saw how butter was made. I tasted the butter it  was fantastic.  I went in the big houses inside it looks wonderful they had lots of flower patterns on the walls.  There were games on the table. From Ruby.
