In term 4 week 1 Room 15 and 28, and 10 went to the Botanical Gardens. We went there to explore New Zealand Forests. When we got there it was all sunny and windy. We went to a forest called Totara Park. Crystal liked the forest part when she got to use the magnifying glass. Ashmeen liked the part when she saw the Blossom tree. It was amazing. When we were leaving it started to rain. Well, it is Spring Time. By Crystal and Ashmeen.

The teachers called us and we sat down on the concrete cause the teachers said so.
After that we all went to the forest. It was a bit dark because the trees were shady. By Aaliyah and Roechelle.

In Term 2 Rm 15 had lots of leaves on the deck. We all had to pick up the leaves. Some people were playing with the leaves. Some people were picking the leaves up and putting them into the bin. The boys were fiddling with the leaves. Ms Kumar said '' well done everyone it's looking lovely''. Soon the deck was nice and tidy. Then Ms Purvis took our photos picking up the leaves. Then we all went inside the classroom, suddenly Mr White came and gave us a clap. We were so proud of the work we did. By Haneet and Ashmeen.

My class went on a trip to Howick Historical village. We explored the whole entire village. It was fun. My favourite part was when we went in the school. It was big and old. We saw a lot of old plastic. They were very old and dirty. There was a very old toy. It had a horse and it was like a scooter and I almost fell off it, even my friends were about to fall of it. I liked it. From Oshana.

We drew on the slate. It was a type of rock. We wrote with rocks. If you went to sleep the teacher wuold get a stick and bang on the desk so that will wake you. from Suvel.
