Term 1 Reflections

We really had a busy term.  There were heaps of things we had been learning about.  In Maths we had learned how to use different strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.  We also learned how to tell time, recognise 2D and 3D shapes and read and order fractions.

In writing, we have learned how to write recounts,  narratives, explanations, Five Lies poem and diamante poems.

In reading, we had been learning about the differences between literal and inferential questions.

In topic, we had learned about how to relate to others.  We also learned about Census and why it's done.  Lastly for our topic, we learnt about Being a New Zealander.  We used Kidspix, comic life and pages programme during out ICT time to create Kiwiana icons.
